I thought I'd do an intro post about the efforts I've made to get more exercise...
They've sort of fallen by the wayside but maybe by joining this community I'll feel encouraged to do a bit more.
I was going to a gym but my gym buddy got pregnant (any excuse) and so couldn't go any more and I hated it with a firey passion on my own so I stopped doing that. Not before I'd signed up to run the http://www.raceforlife.org though which I completed on July 4th.
I was terribly proud because I'm a lazy baggage :) Since then I've done sod all exercise until the last week when we got a dance mat. I've just persuaded a friend of mine that it's a really good idea and so far it is, there are some good songs and an aerobic mode so you can see how many calories you're burning.
I'm hoping that by just doing a couple of tracks a day I'll get in to the habit of being more active and then when I go back to being thin classes in September life will be a bit easier for me.
